| June 30:hydrabad india.. (Siasat News) I can't sleep due to the worries of my four deaf and dumb unmarried daughters. I have become so weak that I can't even walk for a few yards. I get up during nights and look at my daughters and start thinking what would be their future. I start shedding tears and severe headache starts while thinking about hem. The severity of headache can't be described in words. To make arrangements for their marriages at my old age is unbearable for me. Their growing ages have become the cause of my grief. These are the words of poor destitute woman Ms. Zakia Sultana whose four young daughters are sitting in the house without getting married because she is not able to fulfill the demands of dowry. The most unfortunate thing is that these girls Zakira Sultana, Shakira Sultana, Mazira Sultana and Fatima whose ages are 27, 25, 24, and 15 years are deaf and dumb. According to the details of this family, these girls are the daughters of Mohammed Khaja Moinuddin, Lorry driver who has five daughters and two sons. The family lives in Salman Nagar, Chintal Mate, Attapur. The eldest daughter got married. Mr. Khaja Moinuddin takes special care of his wife and daughters. His eldest son is a scooter Mechanic in a workshop. The younger son is unemployed. These girls are cut off from the society. They have now started going to the school of deaf and dumb at Malakpet. They attend this school from 9 am to 4 p.m. These girls always wear hijab (veil) and they offer prayers regularly. Zakia Sultana used to accompany her daughters to school but she is unable to go to their school these days due to knee pain. The non-Muslim teachers of the school are very much impressed by the aptitude of these girls to acquire education. They are trying to get suitable boys to marry them. These teachers are of the opinion that it may not be appropriate to marry them to the normal boys. They are therefore, in search of deaf and boys. The tragic part of it is that even such boys are demanding dowry to the tune of Rs. 50,000/- and a motor cycle. The family can't afford all this. Since Khaja Moinudin is very old, the responsibility of household expenditure is on his eldest son. Wealthy people of our society should come forwarded to help this poor family.
