[Islamic Research Foundation / Dr. Zakir Naik / IRF] BEST EXPLANATION OF ITSELF .

BEST EXPLANATION OF ITSELF . 5:35 QURAN "O ye...
Adil Husain 1 July 20:46
BEST EXPLANATION OF ITSELF .

5:35 QURAN
"O ye who believe! Do your duty to God, seek the means of approach (Arabic: wasilata) to Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that you may prosper"
--------------- --------------- --------------- --------------- ------
What is conveniently omitted or overlooked is that the same word 'Wasilatan' is used once more in another part of the Quran where the concept of'Wasilah'as commonly understood and very meaning that some extract from 5:35 is completely negated.
--------------- --------------- --------------- ---------------
17:56-7 QURAN

"Say:"Call on those - besides Him - whom you fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them. Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access (Arabic: wasilata) to their Lord, even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of"
--------------- --------------- --------------- --------------- -
In Arabic , Wasila means'a mean to become nearer to a thing', considering 5:35 and 17:56 and 57 , Wasila in 5:35 means'mean to get closer to god'like charity , worship , prayer , good deeds , patience , respecting others , thinking about god and his creation , etc.

[Islamic Research Foundation / Dr. Zakir Naik / IRF] Greeting the Kuffaar:

Greeting the Kuffaar: [Sharh Riyaadh...
Abdullah Bin Ali 1 July 20:23
Greeting the Kuffaar:
[Sharh Riyaadh al-Saaliheen (2/594) of Shaikh al-`Uthaymeen ﺭﺣﻤﻪ
ﺍﻟﻠﻪ]
The Shaikh ﺭﺣﻤﻪ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ said:
What is required from you is that whenever you meet a Muslim
brother, you should greet him (with Assalaam `Alaikum). As for
other than the Muslims, then you should not (be the first one to)
greet them. Because the Prophet ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said:
ﻻ ﺗﺒﺪﺀﻭﺍ ﺍﻟﻴﻬﻮﺩ ﻭﺍﻟﻨﺼﺎﺭﻯ ﺑﺎﻟﺴﻼﻡ، ﻭﺇﺫﺍ ﻭﺟﺪﺗﻤﻮﻫﻢ ﻓﻲ ﻃﺮﻳﻖ ﻓﺎﺿﻄﺮﻭﻫﻢ ﺇﻟﻰ
ﺃﺿﻴﻘﻪ
"Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and
when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the
narrowest part of it." [1]
So a Jew or a Christian or an apostate – like the one who does not
pray – or an innovator involved in major Kufr (like grave worshiping
etc), to all of these one should not be the first one to greet them
even if they were the nearest of kin.
But if they greet you first, then reply to them in the similar way they
greeted you. If they say: "Ahlan wa Marhabaa", you should also reply
back: "Ahlan wa Marhabaa".
If they say: "Assalaam `alaikum", reply: "Wa `alaikum assalaam".
But if you doubt whether he said: "Assalaam `alaikum" (peace be
upon you) or "Assaam `alaikum" (death be upon you), then you
should say: "Wa `alaikum" (and upon you be the same).
But if you are not certain that he said: "Assalaam `alaikum" with an
"L", then you should say: "Wa `alaikum". This is because the Jews
used to pass by the Prophet ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ and his Companions,
and used to greet them, but they used to say "Assaam `alaikum",
and "Assaam" means death. So the Prophet ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said:
ﺇﻥ ﺍﻟﻴﻬﻮﺩ ﺇﺫﺍ ﻟﻘﻮﻛﻢ ﻗﺎﻟﻮﺍ: ﺍﻟﺴﺎﻡ ﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ ، ﻓﻘﻮﻟﻮﺍ : ﻭﻋﻠﻴﻜﻢ
"When the Jews greet anyone of you they say: "Assaam`Alaikum
(death be upon you)"; so you should say: "Wa `Alaikum""
So if they greet us with "Salaam" then upon them is
"Assalaam" (peace), and if they are praying for our death, then upon
them is death. And this is from the justice:
{When you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is
better than it, or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allaah is Ever a
Careful Account Taker of all things.} [3]

==a)Mercy of Prophet(peace be upon him) on the Jews.==

Allah says,''We have not sent thee(O Muhammad) save as a mercy to the worlds." (Al-Quran 21:107)

Prophet Muhammed(S.A.W) said,''If anyone harms (others), God will harm him, and if anyone shows hostility to others, God will show hostility to him."
(Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Book 18 Hadith 3628.)

Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 93, Number 473:
Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle said, "Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind."

Hadith-1
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: Mujahid said that Abdullah ibn Amr slaughtered a sheep and said: Have you presented a gift from it to my neighbour, the Jew, for I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbour to me so that I thought he would make an heir? (Abu Dawood Book #41, Hadith #5133)

Hadith-2
Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila: Sahl bin Hunaif and Qais bin Sad were sitting in the city of Al-Qadisiya. A funeral procession passed in front of them and they stood up. They were told that funeral procession was of one of the inhabitants of the land i.e. of a non-believer, under the protection of Muslims. They said, "A funeral procession passed in front of the Prophet and he stood up. When he was told that it was the coffin of a jew, he said, "Is it not a living being (soul)?" (Bukhari Book #23, Hadith #399)

Hadith-3.
Narrated anas bin Malik: A jew passed by Allah's Apostle and said, "As-Samu 'Alaika." Allah's Apostle said in reply, "We 'Alaika." Allah's Apostle then said to his companions, "Do you know what he (the jew) has said? He said, 'As-Samu 'Alaika.'" They said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we kill him?" The Prophet, said, "No. When the people of the Book greet you, say: 'Wa 'Alaikum.'" (Bukhari Book #84, Hadith #60)

Hadith-4.
Narrated anas: A jewish boy used to serve the Prophet and became ill. The Prophet went to pay him a visit and said to him, "Embrace Islam," and he did embrace Islam. Al-Musaiyab said: When Abu Talib was on his deathbed, the Prophet visited him. (Bukhari Book #70, Hadith #561)

Hadith-5.
Narrated anas bin Malik: A jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?" He said, "No." I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Apostle . (Bukhari Book #47, Hadith #786)

Hadith-6.
Prophet peace be upon him told us the story of the Jewess. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There was a dog moving around a well whom thirst would have killed. Suddenly a prostitute from the prostitutes of Bani Isra'il (Jews) happened to see it and she drew water in her shoe and made it drink, and she was pardoned because of this. (Muslim, Book #026, Hadith #5579)

Hadith-7.
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: When the children of a woman (in pre-Islamic days) did not survive, she took a vow on herself that if her child survives, she would convert it a Jew. When Banu an-Nadir were expelled (from Arabia), there were some children of the ansar (Helpers) among them. They (Muslims) said: We shall not leave our children. So Allah the Exalted revealed; "Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error." (Abu Dawood Book #14, Hadith #2676)

Why the Jews were expelled? Islamqa Fatwa:32762 says. They tried to kill Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) after Badr. Banu al-Nadir sent for him to come out to them with thirty of his companions, and said "We will send out thirty of our rabbis, to meet in such and such a place, halfway between us and you, so that they can listen to you. If they believe in you then we will all believe in you." Then they said: "How can we reach an understanding when there are sixty of us? Send out three of your companions and we will send out three of our scholars to listen to you. They were carrying concealed daggers and they wanted to kill the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). A sincere woman from among Banu al-Nadeer sent word to her nephew (her brother's son) who was a Muslim man from among the Ansaar, and told him about that, and he told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went back, and the following day he brought his troops and besieged them, and the Jews of Banu al-Nadeer were expelled. This story was narrated by 'Abd al-Razzaaq in his Musannaf, and by Abu Dawood in his Sunan (3004), via 'Abd al-Razzaaq, but he does not mention the details of the story, rather he says, "... 'They will listen to you and if they believe in you, we shall believe in you.' The narrator then narrated the whole story. When the next day came, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out in the morning with an army, and besieged them." This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

===b)Mercy of Prophet(peace be upon him) on Non-Muslims.====

Hadith-8.
Jabir b. Abdullah reported: We went along with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on an expedition towards Najd and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) found us in a valley abounding in thorny trees. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stayed for rest under a tree and he suspended his sword by one of its branches under which he was taking rest. The persons scattered in the valley and they also began to take rest under the shade of trees, and Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: A person came to me while I was asleep and he took hold of the sword. I woke up and found him standing upon my head and I had hardly become alert (and saw) that the sword was in his hand. And he said: Who can protect you from me? I said: Allah. He again said: Who can protect you from me? I said: Allah. He put his sword in the sheath (and you can see) this man sitting here. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) did not in any way touch him. (Muslim Book #030, Hadith #5665)

Hadith-9.
Narrated Abu Huraira: A Bedouin stood up and started making water in the mosque. The people caught him but the Prophet ordered them to leave him and to pour a bucket or a tumbler of water over the place where he had passed the urine. The Prophet then said, "You have been sent to make things easy and not to make them difficult." (Bukhari Book #4, Hadith #219)

Hadith-10.
When he was told that it was the coffin of a jew, he said, "Is it not a living being (soul)?" (Bukhari Book #23, Hadith #399)
.
Hadith-11.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah : A funeral procession passed in front of us and the Prophet stood up and we too stood up. We said, 'O Allah's Apostle! This is the funeral procession of a jew." He said, "Whenever you see a funeral procession, you should stand up." (Bukhari Book #23, Hadith #398)

Hadith-12.
Abu huraira reported it was said to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him): Invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said: I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but" I have been sent as mercy." (Muslim Book #032, Hadith #6284)

Hadith-13.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas bin Malik said, "On the day of Hudaybiyyah, eighty armed men from Makkah went down the valley coming from Mount At-Tan'im to ambush the Messen- ger of Allah . The Messenger invoked Allah against them, and they were taken prisoners.'' 'Affan added, "The Messenger pardoned them, and this Ayah was later on revealed,

(And He it is Who has withheld their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makkah, after He had made you victors over them.)'' Muslim, Abu Dawud in his Sunan and At-Tirmidhi and An-Nasa'i, in the Tafsir section of their Sunan, collected this Hadith.[Tafsir Ibn Katheer under the ayah 24 of Surah al-Fath]

Hadith-14.
Prophet peace be upon him said on the conquest of Makkah
"O you people of Quraish! What do you think of the treatment that I am about to accord to you?" They replied: "O noble brother and son of noble brother! We expect nothing but goodness from you."
Upon this he said: "I speak to you in the same words as Yusuf (the Prophet Joseph) spoke unto his brothers: He said: "No reproach on you this day," [Al-Qur'an 12:92] go your way, for you are freed ones."[Sealed nectar,Preparations for the Attack on Makkah, and the Prophet's Attempt at imposing a News Black-out]

Hadith-15.
A group of Jews asked permission to visit the Prophet (and when they were admitted) they said, "As-Samu 'Alaika (Death be upon you)." I said (to them), "But death and the curse of Allah be upon you!" The Prophet said, "O 'Aisha! Allah is kind and lenient and likes that one should be kind and lenient in all matters." I said, "Haven't you heard what they said?" He said, "I said (to them), 'Wa 'Alaikum (and upon you).(Bukhari Volume 9, Book 84, Number 61)

Hadith-16.
Asmaa' bint Abi Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: "My mother came to me when she was still a mushrikah – at the time when there was a peace treaty between Quraysh and the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) – accompanied by her father. I consulted the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), saying, 'O Messenger of Allaah, my mother has come to me and she is asking for help. Should I uphold the ties of kinship with her?' He said, 'Yes, uphold the ties of kinship with her.' (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 2946).

Allah says:
They give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the Miskeen (the poor), the orphan, and the captive' [al-Insaan 76:8].
.
Ibn Katheer Commented:
'' Ibn 'Abbas said, "At that time (when this Ayah was revealed) their (the Muslims') captives were idolators.'' Proof for this is that on the day of Badr the Messenger of Allah commanded his Companions to treat the captives respectfully. They (the Companions) would give them preference over themselves when eating their meals. 'Ikrimah said, "They (captives) are the slaves.'' Ibn Jarir preferred this opinion since the Ayah generally refers to both the Muslim and the idolators. Sa'id bin Jubayr, 'Ata', Al-Hasan and Qatadah all made similar statements. The Messenger of Allah advised treating servants well in more than one Hadith.

Hadith-18
Abd ar-Rahman ibn Kab said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade those who fought ibn Abi Huqayq (a treacherous jew from Madina) to kill women and children. He said that one of the men fighting had said, 'The wife of ibn Abi Huqayq began screaming and I repeatedly raised my sword against her. Then I would remember the prohibition of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so I would stop. Had it not been for that, we would have been rid of her.'[Maliks Muwatta Book 021, Hadith Number 008. Section -Prohibition against Killing Women and Children in Military Expeditions.]

====c)Mercy of Prophet(peace be upon him) on Children.========

Hadith-19
Anas b. Malik reported: I served the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) for ten years, and, by Allah, he never said to me any harsh word, and he never said to me about a thing as to why I had done that and as to why I had not done that.(Muslim Book #030, Hadith #5720)

Hadith-20
Narrated Anas bin Malik: I never prayed behind any Imam a prayer lighter and more perfect than that behind the Prophet and he used to cut short the prayer whenever he heard the cries of a child lest he should put the child's mother to trial. (Bukhari Book #11, Hadith #676)

Hadith-21
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), said: A woman came to me along with her two daughters. She asked me for (charity) but she found nothing with me except one date, so I gave her that. She accepted it and then divided it between her two daughters and herself ate nothing out of that. She then got up and went out, and so did her two daughters.

(In the meanwhile) Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) visited me and I narrated to him her story. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: He who is involved (in the responsibility) of (bringing up) daughters, and he accords benevolent treatment towards them, there would be protection for him against Hell-Fire. [Sahih Muslim Chapter 44: THE MERIT OF ACCORDING BENEVOLENT TREATMENT TO DAUGHTERS Book 032, Number 6362]

Hadith-22
'A'isha reported: A poor woman came to me along with her daughters. I gave her three dates. She gave a date to each of them and then she took up one date and brought that to her mouth in order to eat that, but her daughters expressed desire to eat it. She then divided the date that she intended to eat between them. This (kind) treatment of her impressed me and I mentioned that which she did to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). Thereupon he said: Verily Allah has assured Paradise for her, because of (this act) of her, or He has rescued her from Hell-Fire. [Muslim Book 032, Number 6363]

Hadith-23
Malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He, who brought up two girls properly till they grew up, he and I would come (together) (very closely) on the Day of Resurrection, and he interlaced his fingers (for explaining the point of nearness between him and that person).[Muslim Book 032, Number 6364]

Hadith-24
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle kissed Al-Hasan bin Ali while Al-Aqra' bin habis At-Tamim was sitting beside him. Al-Aqra said, "I have ten children and I have never kissed anyone of them," Allah's Apostle cast a look at him and said, "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully." (Bukhari Book #73, Hadith #26)

Hadith-25
Narrated 'Aisha: A bedouin came to the Prophet and said, "You (people) kiss the boys! We don't kissthem." The Prophet said, "I cannot put mercy in your heart after Allah has taken it away from it." (Bukhari Book #73, Hadith #27)

Hadith-26
Anas b. Malik reported: I have never seen anyone more kind to one's family than Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), and ibrahim was sent to the suburb of Medina for suckling. He used to go there and we accompanied him. He entered the house, and it was filled with smoke as his foster-father was a bricksmith. He took him (his son Ibrihim) and kissed him and then came back. 'Amr said that when Ibrihim died. Allah's LMessenger (may peace be upon him) said: Ibrihim is my son and he dies as a suckling babe. He has now two foster-mothers who would complete his suckling period in Paradise. (Muslim, Book #030, Hadith #5734)

Hadith-27
Abu Qatada reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) leading the people in prayer with umama daughter of Abu'l-'As on his neck; and when he prostrated he put her down. (Muslim Book #004, Hadith#1109)

Hadith-28
Al-bara' b. Azib reported: I saw Hasan b. 'Ali upon the shoulders of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and he was saying: O Allah, I love him, and love him Thou. (Muslim Book #031, Hadith #5953)

Hadith-29
Narrated sahl bin Sad As-Sa'idi: A drink (milk mixed with water) was brought to Allah's Apostle who drank some of it. A boy was sitting to his right, and some old men to his left. Allah's Apostle said to the boy, "Do you allow me to give the rest of the drink to these people?" The boy said, "O Allah's Apostle! I will not give preference to anyone over me to drink the rest of it from which you have drunk." Allah's Apostle then handed the bowl (of drink) to the boy. (See Hadith No. 541). (Bukhari Book #43, Hadith #631)

Hadith-30
Narrated usama bin Zaid: That the Prophet used to take him (i.e. usama) and Al-hassan (in his lap) and say: "O Allah! Love them, as I love them." (Bukhari Book #57, Hadith #81)

Hadith-31
Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) delivered a speech to us; meanwhile al-Hasan and al-Husayn came upon there stumbling, wearing red shirts. He came down from the pulpit, took them and ascended it with them. He then said: Allah truly said: "Your property and your children are only trial" (Ixiv.15). I saw both of them, and I could not wait. Afterwards he resumed the speech. (Abu Dawood Book#3, Hadith #1104)

Hadith-32

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) came to some children who wereplaying: He saluted them. (Abu Dawud Book #41, Hadith #5183)

Hadith-34
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that a son of Kab ibn Malik (Malik believed that ibn Shihab said it was Abd ar-Rahman ibn Kab) said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade those who fought ibn Abi Huqayq (a treacherous jew from Madina) to kill women and children. He said that one of the men fighting had said, 'The wife of ibn Abi Huqayq began screaming and I repeatedly raised my sword against her. Then I would remember the prohibition of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so I would stop. Had it not been for that, we would have been rid of her.' (Maliks Muwatta Book 021, Hadith Number 008. Section : Prohibition against Killing Women and Children in Military Expeditions).

Hadith-37

Prophet peace be upon him said: Don't you make justice between them? [Sharah Mani al Athaar by At-Tahawi Kitab al Hiba wal-Sadaqah]

==d)Mercy of Prophet(peace be upon him) on Orphans and Widows.=

Hadith-38
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: One who makes efforts (for earning to be spent) on a widow and the destitute is like a striver in the cause of Allah, and I think he also said: He is like one who constantly stands for prayer and observes fast without breaking it.[Sahih Muslim Book 42, Chapter 3 : BENEVOLENT TREATMENT TO THE WIDOWS, ORPHANS AND THE POOR Number 7107]

Hadith-39
Narrated 'abdullah bin dinar: My father said, "I heard Ibn 'umar reciting the poetic verses of Abu Talib: And a white (person) (i.e. the Prophet) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows." Salim's father (Ibn 'umar) said, "The following poetic verse occurred to my mind while I was looking at the face of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) while he was praying for rain. He did not get down till the rain water flowed profusely from every roof-gutter: And a white (person) who is requested to pray for rain and who takes care of the orphans and is the guardian of widows . . . And these were the words of Abu Talib." (Bukhari Book #17, Hadith #122)

Hadith-40
Narrated sahl: Allah's Apostle said, "I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise," showing his middle and index fingers and separating them. (Bukhari Book #63, Hadith #224)

Hadith-41
It is reported on the authority of Abu huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: Avoid the seven noxious things. It was said (by the hearers): What are they, Messenger of Allah? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Associating anything with Allah, magic, killing of one whom God has declared inviolate without a just cause, consuming the property of an orphan, and consuming of usury, turning back when the army advances, and slandering chaste women who are believers, but unwary. (Muslim Book #001, Hadith#0161)

Hadith-42
Abu huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: One who looks after the orphan whether he is his relative or not, I and he would be together in Paradise like this, and Malik (explained it) with the gesture by drawing his index finger and middle finger close together. (Muslim Book #042, Hadith #7108)

Hadith-43
Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are well treated. The worst house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are ill treated. I and the guardian of the orphan will be in the Garden like that," indicating his two fingers. [Adab al Mufrad 76. The best house is a house in which orphans are well treated 137]

=====e)Mercy of Prophet(peace be upon him) on Women.====

Hadith-44
Anas reported that a woman had a partial derangement in her mind, so she said. Allah's Messenger, I want something from you. He said: Mother of so and so, see on which side of the road you would like (to stand and talk) so that I may do the needfull for you. He stood aside with her on the roadside until she got what she needed[Sahih Muslim Book 30 Chapter 19 : THE NEARNESS OF ALLAH'S APOSTLE (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) TO THE PEOPLE AND THEIR SEEKING BLESSINGS FROM HIM (AND HIS POSSESSIONS), Number 5751]

Hadith-45
It was narrated that al-Aswad said:
: سألتُ عائشة ما كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يصنع في بيته ؟ قالت : كان يكون في مهنة أهله - تعني : خدمة أهله - ، فإذا حضرت الصلاة خرج إلى الصلاة .
I asked 'Aa'ishah what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to do in his house, and she said: He used to serve his family and when the time for prayer came he would go out and pray.[Bukhaari, 644]

Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar said in the commentary:
وفيه : الترغيب في التواضع وترك التكبر ، وخدمة الرجل أهله .
This shows that we are encouraged to be humble and not arrogant, and that a man should serve his family.[Fath al-Baari, 2/163]

Hadith-46
Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah, 's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand? He said: Your mother. He again said: Then who (is the next one)? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Qutalba, there is no mention of the word" the people"[ Saheeh Muslim Book 032, Number 6180]

Hadith-47
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet was on a journey and a slave named Anjasha was chanting (singing) for the camels to let them go fast (while driving). The Prophet said, "O Anjasha, drive slowly (the camels) with the glass vessels!" Abu Qilaba said, "By the glass vessels' he meant the women (riding the camels)." [ Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 229]

Comment: He ordered so that the speed of camel may not harm women sitting on the camels.

Hadith-48
Prophet peace be upon him said: "These two [gold and silk] are forbidden for the males of my ummah and permissible for the females." (Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 3640; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah)

Hadith-49
Had it not been for that, we would have been rid of her.'[Maliks Muwatta Book 021, Hadith Number 008. Section : Prohibition against Killing Women and Children in Military Expeditions.]

Hadith-50
Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri: "I went to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them."[Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 11, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Number 2139]

Hadith-51
'A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him), said: A woman came to me along with her two daughters.

Hadith-52
'A'isha reported: A poor woman came to me along with her daughters. I gave her three dates. She gave a date to each of them and then she took up one date and brought that to her mouth in order to eat that, but her daughters expressed desire to eat it. She then divided the date that she intended to eat between them. This (kind) treatment of her impressed me and I mentioned that which she did to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). Thereupon he said: Verily Allah has assured Paradise for her, because of (this act) of her, or He has rescued her from Hell-Fire.Sahih Muslim Book 032, Number 6363]

Hadith-53
Malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He, who brought up two girls properly till they grew up, he and I would come (together) (very closely) on the Day of Resurrection, and he interlaced his fingers (for explaining the point of nearness between him and that person). [Sahih Muslim Book 32,Number 6364]

Hadith-54
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbaas that a black woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: "I suffer from epilepsy and I become uncovered. Pray to Allaah for me." He said: "If you wish, you can be patient and Paradise will be yours, or if you wish I will pray to Allaah to heal you." She said, "I will be patient." Then she said: "But I become uncovered. Pray to Allaah that I will not become uncovered." So he prayed for her.[Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5652; Muslim, 2576]

Hadith-55
When the peace treaty had been concluded, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) ordered his Companions to slaughter their sacrificial animals, but they were too depressed to do that. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) gave instructions in this regard three times but with negative response. He told his wife Umm Salamah about this attitude of his Companions. She advised that he himself take the initiative, slaughter his animal and have his head shaved. Seeing that, the Muslims, with rended hearts, started to slaughter their animals and shave their heads. They even almost killed one another because of their distress. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) prayed three times for those who shaved their heads and once for those who cut their hair... (Sealed Nectar by Shaykh Safi ur Rahman Egnlish translation page 155)

Comment: This is the proof that Prophet peace be upon him used to take advises from his wives.

Hadith-56
Aaishah (Radhiallahu 'Anha) said: Allaah's Messenger (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) never hit anything with his hand ever, except when fighting in the path of Allaah. Nor did he ever hit a servant or a woman." [Recorded in Musnad Ishaq bin Rawahiya no: 698, Ibn Maajah Kitab al Nikah hadeeth no: 1984 Al-Albaanee said it is Saheeh.]

Conclusion: The list is very long and it will take Volumes, I just wanted to share these beautiful ahadeeth. May Allah grant us Jannat al firdous ameen and May Allah guide us to the path of Prophet peace be upon him

HOW TO REPLY TO SOME'S SALAAM WHILE PRAYING...

HOW TO REPLY TO SOME'S SALAAM WHILE PRAYING
____________________________________________________________

If salaam (Islamic greeting) is given to a person whilst he is praying, he can reply with a gesture, as was reported from Suhayb (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said: "I passed by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as he was praying. I greeted him with salaam, and he responded with a gesture."
(Sunan Abi Dawood, 925; Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood, 818).

HOW SHOULD THAT GESTURE (ACTION) BE?

The gesture is described in a number of ahaadeeth, such as that narrated by Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out to Qubaa' to pray there. The Ansaar came to him and greeted him with salaam whilst he was praying. I asked Bilaal, 'How did you see the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) reply to them when they said salaam to him and he was praying?' He said: 'Like this,' and flattened his hand." Ja'far ibn 'Awn (one of the narrators) flattened his hand with the palm facing downwards and the back of his hand facing upwards.

(Sunan Abi Dawood, 927; Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood, 820)
