 | *** How to take a Bath (Ghusl) according to the Sunnah ***
Cases when Bathing is mandatory:
1-after a wet dream
2-after sexual intercourse even if there was no ejaculation
3-after menstruation and the childbirth
4-every Friday for every Muslim who reached puberty
DO THE FOLLOWINGS:
1-Step in to the bathroom with your left foot, and say the duaa:
"[بِسْمِ الله] اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبائِث
(the name of Allah). O Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.
NOTE: When inside toilet, It is allowed to remove all clothes when you are alone or with your wife/husband.
2-wash your private parts
3-make normal wodo, you may delay washing the feet to the end of the bath
4-pour water to your head and wash your hair all over
5-wash your body from right shoulder to right foot
6-wash your body from left shoulder to left foot
7-wash your body all over
8-if you did not make wodo or your wodo became invalid during bathing, make new wodo after you finish
9-rinse your body if you wish and step out with your right foot and say:
غُفْرَانَكَ I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness
"أشهَدُ أنْ لا إلهَ إلا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ له وأشهدُ أنَّ محمّداً عَبْدُهُ ورَسُولُهُ.."( ).
"اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلنِي مِنَ التَّوّابينَ وَاجْعَلْني مِنَ المتَطَهّرينَ"( ).
"سُبْحانَكَ اللّهُمَّ وَبِحَمدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَيْكَ"( ).
'I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.'
'O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.'
'How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You.'
Your bathing(gusl) is done perfectly according to the way of prophet Muhammad(saw) |
